What You Need to Know About Reiki Healing
Reiki is a traditional Japanese healing technique. This technique reduces stress and increases relaxation and promotes healing.
It is a safe, natural, simple method of healing that stimulates the body’s natural ‘rest and digest’ part of the nervous system. Most people spend all of their day in the ‘fight or flight’ part of the nervous system. The result can be anxiety, poor health, headaches and fidgety-ness.
Quantum physics teaches us that everything is energy. Every living being has a life-force energy. That life-force energy has a ‘tone’ to it. When it’s high vibration, joyful, lightness in the body and calm regulated state is present. When vibration is low, dis-ease, stress, anxiety, feel just lousy or dull can be present.
Reiki calls upon a high vibrational energy to help you reconnect to yourself, your body and the truth of who you are - at your core being. Your truth is a high vibration life-force.
Often, we just need to increase our self-awareness and inner healing to bring us back to that state of being. We need to remember.
This inner truth of who you are at your deepest level, connects you to your intuition and inner guidance system.
Through the stillness and quiet of Reiki, you engage in restful listening…to yourself. Reiki allows you to be receptive without judgement. The result is connection to your deepest wisdom. It’s a gift of self-empowerment and self-compassion.
Too often we only listen to external things - people, information, social media, anyone we think is an “expert”.
But YOU are the expert in YOU.

Reiki is like guided meditation for your body, mind and life-force energy (spirit) that is in and around your body. Remembering and connecting back to your life-force energy and your inner truth stimulates your healing.
We often think healing is something someone, like a doctor, does to us.
The truth is, healing starts within you. External tools, methods and people like coaches, teachers, doctors are supportive to you. You, and only you, have to be engaged in your healing to experience the change you want to manifest.
You are inherently multi-dimensional, and your wellbeing must to be that way too.
This looks like:
Body: food, exercise, sleep, nutrition, decrease toxin exposure
Mind: thoughts, stressors, resilience, distractions, rest
Spiritual: energy, purpose, feelings and emotions, alignment to your true self, fun
I like to think about it as a 3-legged stool to your vibrancy, health and happiness. If one leg is absent, you’re out of balance and not feeling very good.
Too often many of us become comfortable in the familiarity of being “off balance”. We think, like I did for a long time, that “it’s just the way it is”.
It’s a distortion of thinking we are “accepting” something about ourselves when it’s really we gave up to only what’s familiar. Maybe unconsciously we don’t think we’re worthy of healing ourselves. Or, we’re not enough. Or, we get addicted to our own suffering mistaking that that is who we are.
No! We are not our suffering, we are more than enough and we are fully capable to connect into remembering who we truly are. A vibrant, beautiful, loving and compassionate human, who is here at this time, this place for a purpose. The healing is discovering. And only you can do that.
My programs and offers are born out of my own healing. Remembering and re-learning who I truly am took me so much time. I don’t want you to waste one more minute of your beautiful life figuring it out on your own.
