Stress Less to Live the Life You Desire

Stress keeps us trapped and constricted. We start to feel frustrated, bitter, angry, disappointed. 

We hold this energy in our body-mind so tightly that we forget something lighter, happier, calmer, joyful is possible.

Our world is a duality of light and dark.  An inner duality exists too - our “not self” and our “true or authentic self”.  The not self is the constricted part of us. The true self is the lighter, joyful, freedom we experience. It’s not a case of “good” or “bad”/ right or wrong.  But this duality can help us see ourselves more clearly. And help us make adjustments if we veer off track from what we desire. 

Daily repetition and utilizing self care tools that feel good TO YOU are the way to releasing stress. There’s no quick fix that will give you lasting results. But when we allow ourselves to take simple actions to release stress AND incorporate those into our lifestyle, in ways that feel good to YOUR true self, that’s the long term way to feel vibrant every day without it feeling like work.  It becomes an integrated effort to feel more like YOU.  And when we feel more aligned to who we really are; it just feels good!

Each of us desire something a little different. Yet there are tools that work for every body. They way each person integrates them is slightly different, since we’re all bio-individuals. So your creativity that comes from your inner wisdom plus the method of each is perfect for you. And for me. 


There is no one exact way to experience Pilates, Reiki, meditation and healing foods. Customizing these tools based on your innate body wisdom is the secret sauce!

Recognizing stress and where you feel like you’ve bee stuck as your ‘not self’ is the first step.

I have found that this is often the most challenging step - to release what’s no longer serving us.

To find a state of calm mind and body long enough and often enough releases pent-up stress.  

Just as you tone your body through exercise, your subtle body (the energy of your body-mind) also needs to be toned.  Your nervous system is what determines the tone of your subtle body. When it’s well toned, you feel vibrant.

Good news is you can reset your nervous system and tone your nervous system through focused breathing, meditation, intentional walk in nature ( meaning, undistracted by your phone or device), Reiki , prayer, quiet time and nourishing self-care.

Learning to listen to your body and your innate wisdom supports your freedom, vibrancy and stress release.
